MADELINE HOLLERN
Amarillo High School

Madeline Hollern is the daughter of Larry and Ruth Hollern. She graduated from Amarillo High School, where she was active in the student council, National Honor Society and theater. She participated in the Spanish Club, Key Club and Senior Spirits. She was co-editor and features editor of the newspaper her senior year. Madeline Hollern attends the University of Texas at Austin.

RACHEL NELSON
Randall High School

Rachel Nelson is the daughter of Steven Nelson and Julie Page. She graduated from Randall High School, where she was active in the Key Club, French Club and band. She was editor of the newspaper her senior year. She participated in UIL journalism competition, winning awards in feature writing, news writing, headline writing, editorial writing and feature page design. She was voted Most Valuable Newspaper Staffer in 2003. She attends Amarillo College, where she is graphics/photo editor of the college newspaper.

JORDAN TRAVIS
Plainview High School

Jordan Travis is the daughter of Drew and Rhonda Travis. She graduated from Plainview High School, where she was active in the National Honor Society, student council, French Club and band. She was a yearbook copy editor and participated in UIL journalism competition. She is a member of the Junior American Cancer Society and on the boards of the Leo Club, Junior Hale County Literacy Council and Youth Advisory Council. She is a member of the Plainview Area Symphony and Plainview Civic Theatre. She has been an intern at the Plainview Daily Herald since 2002. Jordan Travis attends Trinity University in San Antonio.
